Christmas Poems for Mothers

One of the joys of DecemberIs telling others we careand rememberSo, ( name ) and ( name )We care and rememberAll the year through

***Christmas poems for mothers

Snowflakes falling softlywindows shining bright.Warmth and love and happinessare everywhere tonight.Carollers are singing'neath the lamplights glow.Happy smiling peoplescurry to and fro.Time to wrap the presentsthe children are asleepDreaming, as all children dothat Santa's promise he'll keep.Snowflakes falling softlythere's magic in the airAnd all the joys of Christmaswe lovingly will share.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas poems for mothers

Snowman verse

In a yard, a Snowman will standA little boy will take his hand. They'll stand and talk for a little whileon the Snowman's face there's a happy smile. As I look at the child's faceI know there's nothing can take placeof a Snowman on a winter dayas all the children run and play.I think of years that have travelled bysince I looked towards the skyand watch the Snowflakes tumble downto make a white blanket on the ground. We all seem to grow up fastand look to years that have raced passed. When we were filled with that wonderful joylike the happiness I see in that little boy.Next year when the snow comes downthere'll be Snowmen all aroundAnd when the ground is covered anewWho knows! Maybe I'll build on too!

Have A very Merry Christmas

Christmas poems for mothers

It's Christmas Eve, time for bedbut not an eye will close.Too much excitment in the airto let you even dose.So make a magic potionto help you fall asleep. Then Santa and his helperscan down your Chimney creep.Pour this cocoa in a mugand with hot water mix. Then drop in the magic kissand stir with the cinnerman stick!Add a few marshmallowsand sip it slowly downCrawl into bed and snuggle inThe 'Magic sleep ' will come!

(for a loved one.

I've done quite well, I must confessto ward off Christmas lonliness.I've mailed surprises many milesto start those special morning smiles.I've packed some food and clothes and toysfor less than lucky girls and boys.I've sprinkled goodies on the snowto feed some creatures we both know.A service held by candlelightrenewed my heart this winter night.I've helped to decorate our treethe house glows warm for you and me.With you beside me lost in sleepmy life is full, my love runs deep.Yet memory stirs a dream long gone.As I listen this Christmas dawnfor childish whispers on the stairfor tiny steps no longer there.

Do you know why the pine treesstand so straight and tall? How do they keep their branches, stiff and straightand never stoop at all?It really is a secret, which the North Wind told to me.That every pine tree hopes some day,to be a Christmas Tree.

Grandma's Christmas memories

Christmas poems for mothers

The Sad Snowman

The sad little Snowman went shuffling down, the track through the forest that bordered the town. His snow body was dirty, his coat was all tornand an icy tear ran down his snow face forlorn." Those naughty boys did it,they threw stones at me,"He sobbed to the Old Wise Owl in the tree. Then the darkness was broken by a warm shaft of light,a door was thrown open and sweet sounds filled the night. The Snowman stood still and a child cried with glee," Oh Daddy did you make him,did you make him for me.?Two chubby arms hugged him, then pattered his chestand a little voiced whispered " MY Daddy's the best!I've been very ill and he knew I was sad,so you are the best thing that I could of had.I'd always wished for a Snowman you see,but there's no running round for children like me.I'm stuck in this wheel chair, can't play in the snow, now I've got my Snowman it's better you know."So that tired little Snowman, once broken and sadfound out to his joy that not all the world's bad.

Christmas poems for mothers

The night is dark and silentthe air is crisp and dry.As the first snowflakes of Winterstart falling from the sky. With movements light they dance and float. Then settle with shimmering grace,to form a soft white blanketthat's made of nature's lace

Christmas poems for mothers

I baked a Gingerbread man! He'll run as fast as he can,to bring you this Christmas Wish.In return for this greetin,he requests NOT to be eaten. But will gladly accept a KISS!

Religious Christmas poems for mothers

Now that Christmas time is here,
there' so much I'd like to say.
To tell the world about my Mother
who brings joy along each day.
No one else has shared my secrets
Nor the time that I have cried
More than my kind and caring Mother
Whom I know is on my side.
She's there with her caring heart
When in problems I am caught.
Or when I needed cheering up
Because of troubles life has brought.
She's such a lovely person
Upon whom I may depend
My wonderful caring mother
My guide and my best friend.
So, now that Christmas time is here
No one could be wished more happiness
Than the very Special Mother
With whom I have been blessed.

Mother Reminisces

Amidst fading, precious photosOf family and FriendsShe sits beside the big log fire, Pen ready and cards to send."Here we are around the treeAnd here at Christmas lunch.Oh, look at me, I was so young! And here it's New Year brunch.Who was that howling monster? Was that really cousin Kate?Now- this is the yearYour Uncle drove his truck right through the gate!"Her trembling hand with love recalls. The Christmas beforeAnd a silent tear slides down her cheekFor those who are no more. **Christmas poems for mothers

The wind is whispering secretsit's voice is soft and low. There are white and wintery secretsin the quiet falling snow.Hear secrets in the footstepsof the people on the street. And in gay, ribboned packagesof everyone you meet. There are merry secrets twinklingin the eyes of many a child.Secrets kept by Mum and Dadwhen you asked, they only smiled.Oh, our world is full of secretsnow steal quietly away.Til they open up like magicOn a wonderous Christmas Day.

**Christmas poems for mothers

Our Snowman has six buttonsbut does not have a coat.Just a stripey scarf, wrapped around his throat.A carrot nose, black coal for eyesand Grandpa's pipe is just his size!So proudly near the fence he stands.Hat on head and broom in hand, with a jolly smile that seems to say," Hello there folks, enjoy your day!"
